Retail Manager – Agri Sector

  • Wexford
  • €35,000 – €37,500 DOE
  • Full-Time | Permanent

A well-established business within the agricultural sector is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day running of its Wexford branch. This role will involve overseeing store and yard operations, supporting staff, managing stock, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily retail and yard operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and product support.
  • Manage stock control, deliveries, merchandising, and replenishment.
  • Support staff performance and maintain smooth branch operations.
  • Process sales transactions and purchase orders accurately.
  • Coordinate branch deliveries and supplier communication.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with customer account management and branch administration.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail, agri-retail, warehouse, or yard operations.
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Strong customer service and organisational skills.
  • Experience with stock management and POS systems.
  • Knowledge of agricultural products is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
