Mercedes-Benz Wexford has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant/Trainee Accountant

The successful candidate will have support from the other Financial Controllers within the group. There is huge potential for the right candidate to progress and gain invaluable experience.

You will get all the necessary training specific to this industry.

You will assist the Financial Controller with the following responsibilities:

• Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
• Supervising Purchase and Sales Ledgers
• Preparing Financial Accounts for Year End Audit
• Controlling and Monitoring Cash Flow
• Producing annual budgets and forecasts.
• Liaising with department managers to maximise profitability
• Preparing Ad Hoc Reports for Dealer Principal
• Filing Revenue Returns

Qualification/Skills:

• Extensive spreadsheet analysis knowledge and attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of information
• Self-motivated and proactive with a focus on detail and bringing structure and logic to problem solving
• Strong analytical abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and interact with people at all levels across the company
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• General proficiency in IT systems
