The Role

The Recruitment Consultant will oversee the sourcing, interviewing and hiring process of employees. As the Recruitment Consultant, you will ensure the recruiting strategies used are up to date and also implement new recruiting approaches to meet the demands of the business. You will also provide advice and assist the employer to identify, select and recruit staff for any vacancies and advise on improving the company brand.

This position is based between our two office locations: Wexford and Kilkenny. The role will require regular travel and work at both sites to effectively support our operations.

This is a full time permanent position with excellent salary and commission package available for the right candidate for the position.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)

  • Update recruiting procedures or create new procedures
  • Making arrangements for the advertisement of vacancies and organising interviews
  • Sourcing candidates through a variety of methods
  • Interviewing and assessing prospective applicants and matching them with vacancies
  • Search for and enforce new sourcing methods to find job candidates
  • Evaluate and suggest the best recruiting software for the employer
  • Research the best job advertising techniques
  • Attend career events and job fairs

Required Education Skills and Qualifications;

  • Experience as a Recruiting Manager, Recruiting Coordinator, or Recruitment Consultant in the healthcare industry preferred but not essential
  • Experience in screening and interviewing job applicants
  • Knowledge of labour laws
  • Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently
  • Experience with the use of applicant tracking software and HR databases
  • Knowledge of social media and professional networks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to use Technology
  • Team working skills
